Day 1: Arrival - Marcos
You will be picked up from your hotel around 5:45 am for check-in at Marcos A. Gelabert Domestic Airport for the 7:00 am flight to David, which lasts about 40 minutes. From there, a driver will take you to your hotel in Cerro Punta.
Day 2: Cerro Punta Sightseeing
After breakfast (included), your driver will pick you up at your hotel to begin the tour of the most interesting sites in Cerro Punta, such as the Cerro Punta and Guadalupe plantations, the birthplace of the Garachiné River, the Magnetic Line, and evidence of volcanic eruptions from Volcán Barú.
Visit the Craft Market and the Alan-Her Viewpoint where you can purchase homemade products. Macho de Monte or Tapir Canyon: a hidden gem of natural beauty, not widely known. A canyon that emerged centuries ago due to its proximity to Volcán Barú. Entering is a surreal experience.
Witness water emerging from the cracks in the walls, numerous small waterfalls along the way, with crystal-clear water at the end, the cherry on top. Barriles Site: an open window to the past, where archaeological pieces have been discovered over the last 100 years, aiming to unveil the mystery of ancient civilizations that inhabited the slopes of Volcán Barú. Haras Cerro Punta: a leader in breeding thoroughbred racehorses in Panama and the Caribbean region.
Finca Dracula: home to over 2,000 species of orchids and thousands of other hybrids, specializing in orchids from Central and South America. This is due to the founder's many journeys to South America many years ago.
Day 3: Free Leisure - Departure
On the third day, you will have the morning free to explore the surroundings of the hotel, and around 4:30 pm, the driver will pick you up and take you to David Airport for the last flight at 6:15 pm to Panama City. Upon arrival, another driver will provide your final transfer to your hotel in Panama City.
