Quetzal Trail (Private all day one must have a good condition)
Sendero de Los Quetzales, is one of Panama's most beautiful trails. The 7 to 12 kms route takes between four to seven hours depending on Physical conditions or the time clients would like to take on it. It runs between Cerro Punta and Boquete, several crossings over Río Caldera. You can hike from either direction, but it is easiest from west to east: the town of Cerro Punta is almost 1000m higher than Boquete, so hiking east offers more downhill, you will start in the area known as Respingo and continue hiking downhill to Boquete in the area called Chiquero, then the transportation will be waiting for you with cold drinks upon your return.
