Day 1:
When you arrive at the International Airport, don't hesitate to inquire about the schedule and departure location of the Hotel bus for Riande Airport hotels. The shuttle ride to the hotel is a short 10-minute journey. Once you arrive at the hotel, you can easily complete the check-in process and receive your dinner voucher.

Day 2:

This morning, following an early breakfast at approximately 7:00 a.m., your adventure begins in the company of a diverse, multicultural group united by a shared passion for birds and nature. Today's journey takes you through breathtaking natural landscapes, culminating in your arrival at the camp around 3:00 p.m.

We have reserved a standard tent for you at our Panama tent lodge, providing ample space for storing your luggage, clothing, and gear. Large windows on all sides, equipped with flaps, allow natural light and fresh air to filter into the tent during the day. Each tent features either two single beds or one queen-sized bed, two tables, a floor fan, an overhead light, and a sturdy plantation teak wood floor.

From Day 2 to Day 6:

During your Darien wildlife tour, you can look forward to an active itinerary with daily morning and afternoon guided birding trips throughout your stay. Exploring the untamed beauty of Darién promises excitement and unexpected encounters at every turn. Our experienced guides are adept at locating the region's unique bird species and adapting to the ever-changing conditions, season by season. The itinerary remains highly flexible, catering to your preferences, targets, and current conditions.

While we can't guarantee the sighting of a Harpy Eagle or any other natural phenomenon, our guides and staff are dedicated to providing you with countless birdwatching opportunities and a memorable wilderness experience. Keep in mind that even if we don't find a nest site or juvenile bird, there's still a chance to spot a Harpy Eagle during your stay. In recent years, we've been fortunate to witness Harpy Eagle sightings at various birding sites, including the Canopy Camp itself.

The camp is nestled amidst the protected forests of the Filo del Tallo Hydrological Reserve, offering the chance to encounter regional specialties right in the camp's gardens, such as the Gray-cheeked Nunlet, White-headed Wren, Rufous-tailed Jacamar, and Pale-bellied Hermit. This Panama wildlife tour holds additional surprises like the Spectacled Parrotlet, Dusky-backed Jacamar, Double-banded Graytail, King Vulture, and the majestic Harpy Eagle. Day 7:
On Day 7, it's time to make your way back to Panama City. For your return, we've arranged a comfortable double room for you at the Radisson Hotel, offering a splendid canal view. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the pool or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the canal, perhaps even visiting the Museum of Biodiversity, which you may have on your list of places to explore. Your room comes with a lovely balcony overlooking the canal, allowing you to savor the mesmerizing canal views during the day and the sight of waiting ships under the night sky.

Day 8:
Today is a free day, and being a Saturday, it presents an ideal opportunity for an optional partial canal cruise excursion. Enjoy your stay at the Radisson by Canal Hotel in a standard room with a canal view, including breakfast.

Day 9:

After breakfast, at 08:00, a local guide/driver will be ready at your hotel to accompany you on a 7-hour exploration of Panama City, encompassing both the modern marvel of the Panama Canal at the Miraflores Locks and the historic colonial era. Your journey commences with a drive out of Panama City, heading towards the Panama Canal.

During your visit, you will explore one of the three locks, the Miraflores Lock, where you can witness massive cargo ships navigating through the narrow channel and observe the impressive operation of this world-renowned engineering feat. The site also houses an engaging museum, where you can delve into the history of the canal through a short film on its construction and ongoing expansion.

Continuing your journey, you'll arrive at the "Casco Antiguo," also known as San Felipe. This historic district is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Today, the Casco Antiguo has experienced a renaissance, evoking memories of old Havana with its charming cobblestone streets and the vibrant rhythms of Caribbean salsa music on every corner.

Of course, you'll have time for a delightful lunch (not included).

Day 10 (Panama - Contadora):
In the early hours of the morning, we have arranged your transfer to the local ferry bound for Contadora. This 90-minute boat journey may provide you with the opportunity to catch sight of dolphins. Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome, and together, you will proceed to the hotel. We have secured a room with a splendid sea view for your stay.

Please note that there are specific guidelines for luggage:

Personal items such as briefcases, bags, or backpacks must not exceed 6 kilograms per passenger.

Each passenger is allowed one travel bag with a maximum weight of 14 kilograms.

Checked baggage includes travel bags or additional bags exceeding 14 kilograms per passenger. Additionally, no other items like plastic bags, containers, coolers, food boxes, beverages, or related products are allowed. For these items, there will be a freight charge, with a maximum weight limit of 20 kilograms, at a rate of $1 per kilogram.

Therefore, it's essential to be mindful of these weight limits for each passenger's luggage. Each passenger is entitled to transport up to 14 kilograms of luggage without an additional charge. Any weight exceeding this will be considered "checked baggage," incurring an extra fee per additional kilogram, up to a maximum weight of 20 kilograms per passenger (6 kilograms in hand luggage and 14 kilograms in one suitcase).

Day 13 Contadora - Panama:
Today, you'll board the ferry for your return journey to Panama City. Upon arriving in Panama City, your pre-arranged transfer will be ready and waiting to take you to your accommodation at the centrally located Hotel Central in the heart of the historic district.

Day 14:

We have arranged for a private transfer to the airport. In the event that your departure time is after the standard check-out time, you have the option to securely store your luggage at the reception.
