Santa Fe National Park

Santa Fe National Park is located in the province of Veraguas, in the majestic central region of Panama. Known for its abundant waterfalls and 700 square kilometers of tropical rainforest, the park also hosts hundreds of bird species, butterflies, and orchids. Santa Fe National Park surrounds the historic and picturesque town of Santa Fe, which is also well worth a visit.

Within the park, you can reach many of the 50 existing waterfalls on foot, with trails ranging from quick and easy adventures to full-day excursions. Regardless of the trail you choose, expect to be amazed by breathtaking views and beautiful, tranquil landscapes. Just keep in mind that these hikes are for truly adventurous individuals, as Santa Fe National Park lacks urbanized facilities.
