Cerro Gaital, situated in the province of Coclé, rises to an altitude of over 1,185 meters (3,500 feet) above sea level. On a cloudless day, you can witness breathtaking views of both the Pacific and the Caribbean Oceans, as well as the geological formation of its crater, now known as the community of El Valle.
Cerro Gaital is located to the north of the town of El Valle de Antón in the province of Coclé, approximately 120 kilometers from the capital city. The area boasts diverse cloud forest ecosystems, offering scenic, educational, scientific, environmental, and recreational values, along with significant biological diversity. It is home to populations of endangered species, influences hydrological patterns, and holds unique natural scenic features of national importance.
