Caldera's Thermal Springs Wells is an ideal place to rest and relax. This tourist attraction is situated on private property approximately 2.6 kilometers from the main road of Caldera, in the Chiriquí province. In the area, you'll find four thermal springs wells with temperatures ranging from 34 to 43 degrees Celsius, depending on the location.
Bathing in waters at these temperatures promotes vascular and muscular relaxation. Furthermore, the temperature allows the skin to absorb essential minerals that are beneficial for your health. A dip in one of these thermal wells can be both soothing and healthy for a stressed individual, ultimately serving as a therapeutic experience for those who use them.
Upon arrival at the wells, you'll sense a tranquil atmosphere surrounded by a landscape of great natural beauty. Each visitor is charged $2.00 (as of September 2009) for entry. To bathe in these thermal wells, don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towels.
The wells are quite separated from each other, and visitors must walk to find the one they prefer. Each well is enclosed by individually placed stones, providing an intimate and private ambiance.
